This gorgeous family was our last family of the day at a recent Portrait Party, and as we got started, the sun was slipping away pretty quickly, so we had about 10 minutes to get all our shots. It was a hectic shoot, so good thing all the kids were so sweet and easy to work with, and so photogenic!! They were a fun family to photograph, and such good sports about having to rush around so much.

My very best friend has five amazing children, and I've had the pleasure to know each of them since they were just little babies. This is her oldest, Payton, one of the smartest, sweetest, precocious 10-year old girls I have the pleasure of knowing. I don't often get a chance to just photograph one of the kids on their own, so I had such a blast spending a few minutes focusing (get it? focusing? hehe) on just Payton for a while. She is growing from an adorable little girl into a beautiful young lady, and I am honored to have captured this moment in-between.
This little guy is one of my Baby Planners, and I was so excited to shoot his 8 month portrait session! This is one of my favorite ages to shoot, and Christian did not disappoint!

What is a Portrait Party? A Portrait Party has a Hostess, that's you. The sessions take place at your home or at a local park (weather permitting). The Hostess invite the Guests and provide light refreshments, and schedules the Guests to arrive on a staggered schedule so no one has to wait too long.
The Hostess pays NO sitting fee AND gets 10% of the total Party sales as credit toward her own order. The Guests pay a deeply discounted sitting fee per child. Indoor studio sessions are only $25 per child, outdoor natural light sessions are only $15 per child. The Photographer shoots a 10-15 minute session per child.
Within 3 weeks, we post the images online where Guests can view and order the images from their sessions. The prints are shipped within 1 week, just in time for holiday gift-giving. You can also purchase digital files so you can print them yourself.
All sessions are guaranteed, so if you don't like them, you get your sitting fee back in full, no questions asked. That won't happen though, because we are really, really awesome.
The best part - - all participants will order from a discounted price list, AND receive a coupon code for anywhere 10% - 60% off, depending on the number of Guests who book. The more Guests, the greater the discount.
