We are moving!

In our current economy, so many families have to forgo custom portraiture so they can live within their budgets.  Many of our clients have expressed regret at not being able to come in as often as they like, or take home as many of the images they've fallen in love with.

As much as we wanted to lower our prices to accommodate the realities of our new economy, our increased overhead due to the new studio space just didn't allow it.

We've decided to move the studio back home, where it was for almost a decade prior to our move into a retail space last year.  This will allow us to lower our overhead significantly, which in turn will allow us to offer our services to your family at a price that won't break the budget.

What does this mean for you? 

First, and best of all, the decrease in overhead means lower prices on our sessions.  Our full session fee is dropping from $250 down to $150, and our mini sessions are dropping from $125 down to $95. 

Our studio sessions will take place in the garage studio I've used for years, or for an additional fee, we can come to you!  For the first time ever, we are offering an in-home service where we set up our studio in your home or garage.  This will make newborn sessions so much easier, as you won't even have to leave your house to capture those fleeting first days.  Fees will vary depending on location.

I'll still be working with our talented Associate Photographers, which allows us to offer so much more than just family portraits.  With so many backgrounds and specialties, we can offer other types of services.  We now offer commercial photography for products, offices, restaurants, buildings, you name it.  We also shoot events and weddings, headshots for actors and models, Senior portraits, executive headshots for professionals, and so much more. 

As we speak, we are getting ready to launch an exciting new offshoot, Pin-Ups by Portlyn (one of our ultra-fabulous Associate Photographers), featuring glamorous retro portraiture shot in the style of 1940's pin up artists.  Watch your inbox for details as we progress! 

Another change as the result of the move is the process of viewing and ordering images from your session.  We will no longer have in-person ordering sessions.  We will return to online ordering, which will allow you to share the slideshow of images with your friends and family.   Now you can view and order your images from the comfort of your own home, on your schedule.

We will also eliminate our minimum order requirement for cds of digital files of your session.  We know how much you love to archive your own images, be able to print them whenever you want, and share them with family.  We will return to our previous low prices for retouched and print-ready digital files on CD.

We will be moving at the end of this month, right after our Christmas In July promotion ends.  Our new prices and procedures will be in effect starting August 1st.
