About Me

I'm Autumn Hull, a photographer in Valencia, California. That's about 1/2 hour north of Los Angeles. I specialize in photographing babies and children, although I also do maternity and family sessions.

I am married to an awesome guy named Jim, who animates for Dreamworks. We have four kids; Alex, the boy genius, Katie the princess of everything, and the two best surprises we've ever had, twin boys Sam & Ben. I stay at home full time to keep this full house moving in the right direction.

Back in 1999, when Alex was just a baby, I rediscovered my camera and found a passion for photography I never knew I had. I slowly but surely turned this passion into a business over the next few years. The business has had to adapt to our life, sometimes having to be put on hold for months at a time when I was pregnant or taking care of a newborn (or two!), but it's always been there, waiting patiently for the time I could dive in again.

The babies are almost 2 now, so it's the backburner for my business again. I am on a limited shooting schedule (only a handfull of clients a month), which helps me spend the time I need with my kids but still enjoy working with my clients.

I also teach online workshops for people wanting to get started in the child portrait photography business.
